Stuart Lessman

Finance Manager

Stuart Lessman serves as the Finance Manager, overseeing the company’s Finance and Accounting operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a background spanning government contracting, operations, and education.

Before assuming his current role, Stuart was the Accounting Manager for Arcata’s Orion Space Program, where he led financial functions in support of NASA’s Moon to Mars mission.  In 2013, Stuart was selected as the Arcata Orion Program Employee of the Year and the Buck W. Wong Award Winner,  Arcata’s highest honor, as the Outstanding Employee of the Corporation.

Prior to joining Arcata, he developed extensive operational and financial expertise as an Operations and Accounting Specialist in the Food and Beverage industry. Earlier in his career, Stuart also taught 8th-grade science in the Clark County School District, strengthening his communication and analytical skills. 

Outside of work, Stuart and his family proudly identify as a “Disney Family,” enjoying time together on Disney Cruises and at the Disney parks. They are also avid NFL fans, but Stuart stands alone in the household as the sole Chicago Bears supporter.
